I do not even see Tomkins on the map, Kaleb, do you know the route?
So, it appears the place to be is the host hotel....camp in the buses there?
Horn Rapids county park has camping for $10, but what is that like? I do not need some parent telling me to be quiet at 9pm.... |

If you google map Washtucna and look straight south you will see it. Ive never been that way, but have spoke with others who say its pretty flat. I havent recieved a reply from an email that I sent to the people hosting the show, but Im 90% confident that the show will be just south of the Rosy's Dinner (if you google map Rosy's Dinner Richland, and then look south there is a golf course, look to the east and there is a park with a big-ol-parking lot) and I think thats were we can stash ourselfs and have plenty of room to play bubbles all night (without parents telling us to go to bed, not to touch their show car, that we are a bad influence, that we smell, that our rides are dirty, that we look like we are going to steal there hubcaps etc).
Bubbles = a social gathering game in which participants use alcholic beverages to produce bubbles inside the bottle. The more bubbles produced the better score. |

Just looked at the distance to the park where the show is gonna be, looks to be about 180 miles one way if I stay off the interstate. I haven't given the bug a good shake down ride of more then maybe 20 miles to know if it can handle it. Guess this weekend I will run it to CDA and back to get a 60 plus non stop drive on it to see how it behaves. I wont have the luxury of other VW guys with me if something goes south. |

Horn Rapids County Park is awfully close to Hanford, we all might be riding in the TardBox on the way home.
Anyone got a straight jacket to go with that sparkle helmet? |

Hampton Inn is the sponsor hotel with 80 land side and 90 on river side. I am going to leave around 1:30 on Friday and take my chance on the interstate. Maybe we can link-up at break down points?
I will be driving a 68 squareback, see you there.

We can meet you down hwy 195 if you want, that gas station on the Cheney/Spokane road. We will all probably meet downtown or at that gas station....
Any thoughts? |

You sure can, depends on what everyone is doing. Some may stay down there til Sunday. I plan on leaving about 2pm, and in a stock bus, doing 55mph probably. |
