Hello,
Just found this place while looking for info on the Volkswagen show tomorrow.
My wife and I fell into a deal on a couple bugs, she's doing a 65 streeter and I'm doing a 70 Baja.
I grew up south of here in Valleyford, moved to California when I was 18 and got into building sand rails and bajas but got out of it when I moved back up here. I haven't messed with a VW in about 15 years so I'm a bit rusty.

Looking forward to seeing you at the show.

Welcome and look forward to seeing you tomorrow. Did you find the answers you needed or ??. Just so you know there is VW parking inside even if the car is not entered as long as you are there for the day - no in & out otherwise you need to park in lot. Just pull up to the gate and pay your admission then we will show you where to park. Jan

Unfortunately it doesn't look like we'll have either car drivable by tomorrow, we just pulled the starter on the 65 hoping for a quick fix and found it's a 6 volt. We have a spare 12 volt but no 6 and the 12 has a different size shaft and gear. Crying or Very sad

And yes, found the info for the show, thank you.

It is a cool little store a few blocks from CustomVW that Chris pointed out.

Classic Bug Heaven!

I was in the other day getting some more obscure parts for my `71 Super, and a
guy came in and grabbed their last BugFair flyer.

Thought it might be you, in an obtuse sort of way.

Hope to see you there...

Howdy folks, I'm Skeeter's wife, Amy.
My first car was a '72 super beetle. I loved that bug and, if I'd been able to find a good VW mechanic at the time, I'd probably still have it. I'm really tickled to have another bug and it's even better that Skeeter has one too.

Spectre, nope that wasn't Skeeter at the Lighthouse but now that we know about it, we'll probably be visiting it a lot. Thanks for the info.

I'm looking forward to the bugfair, tomorrow.
