64 ghia would have a 40hp in it, do you need a 40hp single port head or a 13-1600 single port head?

It is a 1500 or 1600... Going to measure tonight. It sounds like I may just replace the valve though. I will know by Friday. thanks for the replies guys! I appreciate the support.

Ok it is a 1500 cc motor. I was told it would not be a bad idea to replace both heads. What casting do you have. Mine is 311. Thanks!

Short version is; anything short of a total rebuild is the wrong way to do it.
If you want to do it the cheapest way possible, just bolt on another head.
Come see me for the long version.

Would love to hear the long version... Or if you have a link to save you the typing that would be fine. The bud I have working on this with me said that they looked fine. I am going to clean off all of the carbon build up. He said the motor had a bit of play but that it wasn't bad... Anyway I appreciate the insights so far.
