I drive a 71 Bay as some of you may know. And I am thinking of a road trip to California this August. Is there such a cot or sleeping device that can fit/is made for such a vehicle?

I know I can remove the middle seat and make room that way but I rather not. Am I dreaming or is there a way? I got a card from a Sandpoint couple at one time that advertised a solution but have lost it.

Any help or ideas would be most welcomed.

They offered a childs cot that hung over the drivers seat area, but are not strong or large enough for an adult. Pulling just the middle seat does not give you enough room to be comfortable. A rock and roll rear seat or zee bed rear seat would be your best bet, I think you can keep the middle seat in with both but would have to research to be sure.

There is this one...and it has a few good reviews.

I've been holding out to find a decent original...but this is probably the way I'm going to go too. It converts your rear seat to a fold out bed.
