Very Happy Hi, I'm a new member, here's the dope on my project. I'm looking for input and expertise on the general project.

Resources: 72 KG convert roller auto transmission, fresh motor
69 KG coupe roller parts (fair amount of body work done on it.
73 Volks Sqrbk w/ tricked motor and tranny great shape except for dent in top from tree falling on it.

Goal: Harvest Sqrbk motor/trans for 72 and restore it. Add drop spindal front end, lower rear end, bell and/or flare fenders similar to ford cobra.

Secondary goal: Find someone who wants square back and/or fresh vw motor.

First compatibility question, will the squarebak motor/trans work in the 72 KG convert.

Does anyone know of an expert at reshaping fenders?

Welcome. I am pretty sure the motors are very different in the two vehicles, not sure how they would mate up at all, but I am definitely not an expert at all.
