You know, I may just do the car show, if I can get my carb swap done by then. Installing a set of 40 dcnf's, & there are always issues.
Wheezy, I understand having to sell your bug for family reasons. I had to sell the 60 Karmann Ghia I inherited from my grandfather. He bought it new in 1959, & I lived next door to it most of my younger life. It made its way to me, I put a new engine in it, restoring it a little at a time (it was pretty clean to start with), but a divorce left me with just the ghia & no family car to haul my 3 kids when they were with me. A Ghia is just not a safe kid hauler, so I had to sell it to buy a four door grannymobile. Crying or Very sad Mad Crying or Very sad Mad
