Well, I am new here even though I have lived here in Spokane for fifteen years. I have been working on a 1963 bug for the past two years. I removed the body from the pan, cut the rusted floor pans out, and welded some new ones in that I got from mill supply. I bought a new front end steering assembly king pin style from Chirico. I sand blasted the pan, primered and painted it with epoxy black paint. I am to the point where all I have to do to finish the pan is to put the brake lines on, and master cylinder, parking brake cables, throttle cables, heater cables, etc. then I can start working on the body.
