Can anyone please tell me if there are heater vents in the front of a 1974 std. bug.The car has new carpet and I cant feel any holes in side panels of the feet area.If there are vents that lead to the front feet area of this car were do the vents come from. The only vents I can find are located in the front panel of the rear seat, one on each side. Thanks for any help you can give,Clyde Reeves

A 74 should have the large plastic vents , that are back a little closer to the seat , they are about 6-8 inches long and make a flat spot on the heater channel .
