Man you didn't even need a seal puller to get that thing out.
You should have seen Eric and I fighting the input shaft seal on the 71.
He kept saying "Man, Kalebs got my damn seal puller". But he eventually got it, and I finally got an engine in.
So I'm off this morning to get some fluids and a battery, hope to have it running today.
Then weld up the bumper brackets that have been cut off with a torch, and the its off to the inspection.

So whites going on.... What's the other color?

I went out to long-roofs pick n pull yard and cut out some parcel shelf donor metal. Having the hole there is just too handy cover up all the way, so the donor piece will be hinged.

Then we stood around yelling at the clouds, this weather is fun as loosing a wheel at highway speeds....

well the white went on but i had some major problems with my first time painting. i guess i mixed the paint to thin and i got quite a few runs in the paint in places. so i get to wet sand now to take the runs out so i can try to paint the white on again. and the other color is going to be orange again.

No car work for me yet...dammit! I've been really busy finishing out my basement...usually work all day, then retreat to the basement until 10pm...and crash! If only I could put this kind of effort into the bus right now.....but, it will be nice to sit in peace with the surround sound blasting!!!

Hello all,
This winter i got a lot of cosmeic stuff done. I replaced my battery tray, replaced carpet after I repainted and added sound deadening. I then scraped the floor pans repainted and added a truck bed liner. I then removed the running boards and repainted them and added truck bed liner since I had some left over. I also replaced the passenger side window regulator (Thanks Eric). I also replaced the plugs, wires and coil. The best was replacing the trans fluid I do not think it had ever been replaced. Now I just need to put it all back together but i am waiting for my lawyer friend to help, nothing better than watching a paper pusher get their hands dirty. When it is all said and done i will post a pic.
Peace out
