so i'm in a spot now to where i can start aquiring the parts needed to turn my 1600 ah dp motor into a spunky 1776. just want to know who has good parts. i remember eric had mentioned something about slip in jugs.
this will be a fair weather car now.
i found a sick exhaust setup that i'm going to try and copy. if it work i think you will enjoy.
thanks for any help. this will be my first engine build, ever

I'm new here, but I lean towards Mid America Motoworks and I hear - haven't bought much from them - Summit Racing. Locally I'd talk to the guys at Lighthouse. West Coast, I've bought from Bugformance out of Sacramento and San Jose.

Have fun with your project. I generally stick to stock, but I'm always interested in the custom work.

Good Luck!

Lighthouse has no interest in air-cooleds anymore. Jimmy at Euro Union has stuff locally. I buy most things from CB Performance.
Bugpack, you can't build a 1776 with slip in barrels, you have to machine the block and heads. Fred, over in Idaho can do the machine work.
