Just put another Bus transaxle in the '59 Spastic Children's Bus, 4th gear is toast! This is the third bad trans for this Bus in 2.5 years! Sad

I feel your pain...I only installed one bad trans, and I'm pretty bummed! I really wanted to drive the bus over this year. Everything else is good, well....I need to re-bush the dellorto's...they leak a little fuel from the throttle shafts.
I wish transaxles didn't take so many specialty tools, or I'd do them myself too!

We didn't go and from the storms coming through here and up the valley through Missoula I'm glad. You know my sunroof is somewhat compromised.

My bus has good karma. I took it into Mitch 200 miles before it was due for valves and he found my left rear wheel bearing was about to go. This was 10 days before the Lind run. What if? He hadn't found it? And it had gone on our Lind trip?

You didn't pick that bad karma bus up at an auction did you? Richard Butler had a schweet bus, beige one. We'd see him at the Owl Cafe in Hayden all the time.

But I have some fun runs we could do from here too. Good for kids and gardeners. I want to go up to Metaline Falls and tour the caves. Smile
