If you are planing on helping out at the show or racing, come to Wed's club meeting and see Hook, he will be at the meeting to do a pre show meet and greet. We will also be stuffing goodie bags for the show, so we could use some help for that as well, even if you are unable to help at the show.

I'm down.

Hook has my info...

Not often, when a person gets a chance to be a part of a "first annual".
Forgive my enthusiasm, but I am REALLY looking forward to the meet & greet.

(besides...its my b-day)

I missed the meeting. Had been thinking of it all week, and then completely spaced it off that evening.

In any case, Ethan and Brent can come and are willing to volunteer.

I'm looking forward to the show, it's been weird NOT having a bug show.
Hook thinks there will be some serious drag race cars there. Trust me, if you have not seen a really fast drag bug, you will want to. It's amazing to watch.

We went to Vintage Meet in Seattle last weekend passing the word about the show, sounds like some Seattle folks are coming. We also have some Boise friends coming.

If anyone wants to caravan out of the Valley and points in between, we are working a route/times. Not a real formal thing...

I've almost got my car ready. I should be firing the engine up for the first time tonight (with the changes that I made) and then on the dyno tomorrow. If all goes well, I should be running in the 9's this weekend. There is also supposed to be some turbo guys showing up so hopefully there will be at least a few of us in the 9's.

Do we know what time the gates will open for swapping? We should plan a route from Trent through downtown to pick up anyone who wants to roll out there with us. Can run up the old Sunset Hill to Highway 2 or down through Peoples Park and out the back way?

I vote Peoples Park Shocked

Line up between 7:30 to 8:00 at raceway, gates open for swappers and show cars at 8am. We can do a caravan leaving from Argonne and Trent (Albertsons) say 7am or so? What do you think HubcapT?

Down Trent, into downtown, down through Peaceful Valley, then up the back way to the track?

7AM at the Trent and Argonne Albertsons sounds like a plan! Trent ends up turning into Spokane Falls Boulevard through downtown, then at Monroe we can hit W Riverside Ave. Follow that till it "Ts" us into Government Way, and SHA BAM!!! One traffic light and we are at the gate!

Disclaimer.... Long story short... ran into a couple of issues and am going to keep a really mild tune on the car for this weekend. Will probably only be running low 11's or maybe high 10's at very best.
