Bought today, it's a '64 body on a '71 pan, '71 dual port, disc brakes, that sort of thing. Paid $2k for it and a ton of extra parts. It's by no means perfect, but drives very well.

Sweet ride! Any chance you picked it up on Fairchild AFB? Or Airway heights? I saw one just like it listed on Craigslist...the guy also had a really clean orange one too. I have way too many projects already, but it sure looked to be a GREAT deal! Congrats!!

Yup that's the one, on FAFB, I missed out on the '63 he had. For the money, I think I did alright. It's a real nice car from 15 to 20 feet, but that's ok, it's so fun to drive with the top down. Also got quite a few spare parts and items with it to sweeten the deal. Gonna have to fight my wife, and teenage sons, for who get's to drive it I think.

Here's a few more pics.

Fake whitewalls still look neat, once again, from the 15 to 20 feet distance.

Thanks, it's got issues for sure, but it drives pretty nice. I am sure the more I dig into it, the more I will say WTF?

Still not a valid excuse. One of us could bring it down for ya. I did that witha customers car I had just built a motor for. Delivered it to them at the show. Detailed.

Well there is a fair amount, but I felt the price and great looks from 20' were worth it. I mean, it's a convertible!
